The contest is quite simple!  Find the Musky Fest Medallion and you win.  Starting on Friday, June 13, listen to WRLS for clues and bonus clue locations.  Good luck!  

BONUS CLUE LOCATIONS:  Esox Angler, Hayward Bait & Bottle Shop, Marketplace Foods and Flat Creek Eatery & Saloon, Glicks.

2008 OFFICIAL RULES

1.       The Musky Fest Medallion is hidden somewhere in the WRLS listening area.

2.   Each day, beginning Friday, June 13, 2008 WRLS will air a clue to assist in finding the medallion.  The clues will be broadcast sometime within these hours 8-9 AM, 12-1 PM and 4-5 PM (CDT).

3.  Each day, WRLS will also give out bonus clue locations instructing listeners to visit specific merchants, which will have the bonus clue of the day.

4.   The official Musky Fest Medallion is hidden on public property and is accessible 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.  Contestants searching for the Musky Fest Medallion will not need to, nor under any circumstances should, trespass on any private property.  Any property damage caused by Musky Fest Medallion contestants is the responsibility of the contestant and subject to applicable federal, state and local laws.

5.  The official Musky Fest Medallion was not buried or submerged at the time of hiding.

6.  When the Musky Fest Medallion is found, it must be taken to the Hayward Area Chamber of Commerce office, between 8am-5pm Monday through Friday, located at 15805 US Hwy 63, Hayward, WI 54843, within 24 hours of discovery in order to claim the prize or to the Hayward Area Chamber of Commerce Merchandise Booth located at Musky Fest.

7.  The person who finds the Musky Fest Medallion must own a 2008 Musky Festival Button at the time they turn in the medallion.

8.   The 2008 Musky Fest Medallion Hunt prize is an $1145.00 prize package that includes:  From ESOX Angler a ½-day fishing trip in the Hayward area by local guide Tanner Wildes, $50 worth of musky baits from Ty Sennett, a Frabill musky net, 3-Year Subscription to ESOX Angler Magazine, and a $100 in-store gift certificate.  From Hayward Bait & Bottle Shop a Handheld Lowrance GO2 GPS, an Elk River Hand Made Custom Musky Rod and an Abu Garcia 6600 SSC3 Reel.  A $50 gift certificate from Marketplace Foods, and a $50 gift certificate from The Flat Creek Eatery. The winner of the Musky Fest Medallion Hunt is responsible, and agrees to pay, any and all applicable taxes, licenses and insurance as a result of winning the contest.

9.   WRLS, its parent companies, the Hayward Area Chamber of Commerce and Musky Fest Medallion Hunt sponsor merchants assume neither responsibility for the actions of persons searching for the Musky Fest Medallion nor liability for those persons while searching for the Musky Fest Medallion.

10. Employees of WRLS and its parent companies, their immediate families as well as employees and immediate family members of the contest sponsors are not eligible to win.

11. You must be at least 18 years of age to win.

12. WRLS reserves the right to use audio and/or video recordings of an interview with the winner for promotional purposes.

13.   WRLS employees will give no clues to players over the phone.  You may not call WRLS or bonus clue locations to receive clues.  Clues may only be obtained by listening to WRLS or by visiting one of the designated bonus clue locations during their normal business hours.  WRLS, at its discretion, may provide additional clue information via its web site, www.wrlsfm.com.

14. Bonus clues posted at participating merchant locations are not to be removed or defaced by contestants.  Any contestant caught in the act of removing, defacing or destroying these posted clues, or clue information along the search route(s) are immediately disqualified from participating in the contest.

15. The Musky Fest Medallion Hunt ends when the official Musky Fest Medallion is presented and verified at the office of the Hayward Area Chamber of Commerce at 15805 US Hwy 63, Hayward, WI 54843.

16. Past winners of the Musky Fest Medallion Hunt are not eligible to win the 2008 Musky Fest Medallion Hunt.
